Why Live in Crundale?

Crundale is a rural jewel hidden in the folds of North Downs landscape. With its narrow rural lanes opening to beautiful views across its valleys this is an actively farmed area where clusters of farm buildings and active machinery mix with renovated farmhouses and expanded cottages, surrounded by steep wooded hillsides. It has an early Norman origin St Mary’s church nearly a mile away from the present centre of the village. It is popular area for walkers - the Stour Valley Walk runs north-south through the parish, climbing up to Crundale village from Wye to the south. Crundale shares a parish hall and many activities with Godmersham to the west of the A28.
