Starting at number 95, we look at streets ranked 95th through to 91st by the total number of homes sold between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2025.
At number 95 is Back Lane, a name that was typically used for secondary access routes running behind the main frontage of houses or shops. These lanes often predate formal street naming. Over the period, the average price paid on Back Lane was £441,245.
Moving to number 94 is John Street. John is one of the most historically popular names in Britain and was frequently used to honour influential individuals, landowners, or developers connected to an area. In some cases, the name is also derived from St John, reflecting religious influence or nearby historic sites such as the Priory of St John of Jerusalem. The average price paid here was £199,880.

Coming in at number 93 is Victoria Avenue. Streets bearing the Victoria name were commonly laid out during the Victorian era, reflecting periods of rapid housebuilding in the late nineteenth century. Homes on Victoria Avenue recorded an average price of £302,477.
At number 92 sits Milton Road. The name Milton has Anglo Saxon origins, referring to a mill town or settlement with a mill. It later became widely adopted through place names, surnames, and literary influence. The average price paid on Milton Road was £374,114.
Completing this week’s selection at number 91 is Oxford Street. Across the UK, Oxford Street names were often chosen to convey importance or status, rather than indicating a direct connection to the city itself. The average price paid on Oxford Street over the three year period was £220,764.
